The story, step by step
01 / 08 — I · ON SITE
One plant, one loop
Trucks come in through the gatehouse, cross the weighbridge, load under the silos, get weighed again and leave. IBITEK’s suite runs this route on 5 production sites, with a team of 3 developers.
02 / 08 — I · ON SITE
One badge, one ticket
At the gatehouse, the outside driver checks in with a badge or QR code. At the weighbridge, one last scan confirms the weight before exit. Every pass prints a ticket. Anas is in charge of this terminal, a WPF app.
03 / 08 — II · THE PLATFORM
Two legacy solutions
Two solutions sit side by side, each with its own code, database scripts and logs. They talk to the site through legacy WCF services: two codebases to maintain, and links that tangle.
04 / 08 — II · THE PLATFORM
Two solutions, one platform
Anas brings the two solutions together into a single platform, keeping their Git history, and writes the migration plans shared with the team. Several projects move to .NET 9, including an Android app.

One web API for the whole site
Anas builds the web API (ASP.NET Web API) that is gradually replacing the legacy WCF services; the switchover is in progress. Terminals, equipment, the MES and external ERPs connect to it, secured with API keys.

The terminal, rethought
The screen every driver faces. Anas redesigns the screen flow and the badge and QR code identification: a new theme, reusable components. Before: cluttered. After: clear and consistent.

Faster, steadier
Flows speed up and issues on site go down: the software handles simultaneous operations and network outages, with clearer logs. Releases are automated with GitHub Actions.

A local test bench
Anas sets up a local development platform wired to in-house terminals and equipment: the team tries a feature on real hardware before it reaches a site. The trucks keep rolling; the software has changed.
